Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP

This has a neat visual style and nice ambiance, but every time I play this I can't not think 'pretentious art-game bullshit'. The eagerness of it wanting to tweet everything you do doesn't help either.

It tries to be extremely simplistic by controlling everything with the mouse, but this leads to frustrations when it asks you to do more complex tasks than moving around. "Wait so I click hold here, okay now something is glowing, and then click hold over here, and why is it not doing anything.... "

Oh and it returns to menu after every "30 minute" chapter, to encourage players to take a break. I don't mind this feature as I've usually had more than I would care for with the game by then.
